Farmers Carry Elbows Up
The farmers carry variation here involves the weight in front of the body. This activates the core more because it requires more Intra-Abdominal Pressure (IAP) to prevent forward flexion of the spine. Also, since the weight is in front, it encourages the posterior tissues of the ribcage to activate as you breath through the diaphragm.
