Farmers carry Dumbbells on side

In this exercise, every step you take involves activation of the core to maintain the spine. As one foot lifts off of the ground, as they do in a regular gait, the core must activate so we do not tip over. This exercise demonstrates walking, however, you may also march with the dumbbells.
