Split Squat
This exercise is one of Elevate’s favorite when it comes to leg exercises. As humans, when we walk, there are 2 phases which require single leg strength/balance when one foot is transitioning (mid-stance and toe off to mid-swing). It also does not put a ton of stress on the low back since the weight able to be carried by 1 leg is less than 2 legs.
