Mike G's Athlete Warm-up

This warm-up is divided into four section: hips, core, legs and shoulders. Each of the workouts are demonstrated on one side, so please do not forget to do the other side when noted under the key points. In the hips section we focus on strengthening and stretching all the tissues around the hip. The core portion of the warm up is several forms of dynamic planks to encourage core strength in multiple planes. The leg section of this warm up is geared to get your body lunging in all the planes to enhance the tissues of the body. The final portion of the warm up utilizes a band to wake up those often dormant mid and upper back muscles.
