Overhead Lateral Raise
This exercise takes the scapula for a ride with the humerus. It causes the scapula to slightly protract, elevate, and laterally rotate. We want these tissues in the midline to be very adaptable so constant full range of motion movement like this is very good. We love this at Elevate because it is great to throw in as a filler between compound lifting sets and strengthens the shoulder capsule throughout the entire range.
